About Pro Star Planet

Three Decades of Code, Now Building AI Into Alabama Businesses

Pro Star Planet is run by Chad Sanders out of Arab, Alabama. He writes the code, answers the phone, and has been building software and websites since the days when you dialed in to see one.

Chad Sanders — AI Application Developer and Generative AI Solutions Developer

Chad has spent the last two years working directly as an AI Application Developer and Generative AI Solutions Developer, and four years building AI-powered applications — custom web tools, business automation systems, trainable website assistants, and the administrative tools that business owners actually log into every week.

Chad’s work in artificial intelligence is built upon approximately 30 years of programming and web-development experience, stretching from the early days of Windows 95, hand-coded HTML, and Netscape to today’s advanced AI applications and generative AI business solutions.

That matters more than it sounds like it does. A lot of people discovered software the same month they discovered AI. Chad did not. He was writing pages in a text editor when a table was how you laid out a website, and he has been through every awkward transition since — dial-up to broadband, static HTML to database-driven sites, desktop to mobile, and now conventional web applications to AI-assisted ones. The AI work sits on top of a long habit of shipping things that have to keep running on Monday morning.

One Continuous Line, Not a Career Change

Every stage below fed the next one. Nothing was thrown out and restarted.

  1. The mid-1990s

Windows 95, Netscape, and hand-coded HTML

The first sites were typed by hand, one tag at a time, and tested in Netscape on a machine that booted to a C: prompt. No frameworks, no page builders, no drag-and-drop. That is where the habit of reading the actual code instead of trusting a tool came from.

  2. The 2000s

Traditional software plus the move to dynamic websites

Desktop programming and general software development alongside the shift from flat HTML files to database-driven sites — forms that stored something, pages that changed on their own, and the first real admin screens for clients who did not want to call a developer for a phone-number change.

  3. The 2010s

PHP applications, hosting, and administrative systems

Pro Star Planet grew into a full stack of its own: hand-written PHP sites, managed hosting and SSL, contact and lead handling, review systems, backup systems, and the custom admin panels that let business owners edit their own content safely.

  4. The last four years

AI-powered applications on top of that foundation

AI stopped being a novelty and became a component. The same PHP applications started getting AI-driven pieces bolted in properly — trainable site assistants, smarter internal search, content tooling, and automation that removed repetitive work instead of adding a new subscription.

  5. The last two years

AI Application Developer and Generative AI Solutions Developer

Working in those roles directly: designing, programming, testing, and improving AI applications and generative AI business solutions using modern AI development platforms, including Claude Code. The output is finished, working software — not demos.

Things That Are Built, Running, and In Use

This is the short version of what has actually shipped. Every item below exists on live sites today, not on a roadmap.

Where the line is drawn, plainly

Chad does not create or train the underlying foundation models — almost nobody does, and anyone claiming otherwise is worth a second look. What he does is build custom applications, tools, workflows, and complete business solutions on top of established AI models and development platforms, and take responsibility for the result working correctly on your site.

Local First, and Small on Purpose

Pro Star Planet builds and hosts websites for small businesses across Alabama and into Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle. Every site is written by hand — no WordPress, no page builders, no plugin sprawl — and every client gets a phone number that reaches the person who wrote their code.

Alongside the websites sits Pro Star Radio, which is why website clients get free daily radio spots, and a growing amount of AI application work for businesses that want their site to do something rather than just sit there.

If you want the technical detail on the AI side, that lives on its own page. If you want to know what a project costs, that is on the pricing page. If you would rather just ask a person, the number is below.
