The scoring engine uses an answer_threshold of 0.34 and a link_threshold of 0.28. Below those thresholds the helper defers honestly instead of guessing - because a wrong answer is worse than no answer.
Phrases like "call me", "get a quote", or "need a website" trigger lead mode. The helper collects a name and contact, saves it to your leads file, and sends you an email alert immediately - day or night.
Questions about weather, sports, crypto, and other irrelevant topics are blocked. A profanity filter with session protection keeps conversations appropriate. Both run silently with no visible friction for normal visitors.
